I animated the user interface for Apple, demonstrating the Mac Mirroring feature for a :30 TV ad.

Reproduce the user interface and its animation to demonstrate the Mac Mirroring feature for a commercial aimed at students.

Process
Apple’s marketing materials need to be localized into various languages, which means simply recording screen content is out of the question. I took Photoshop reproductions of the Mac and iPhone interface and reproduced the interface’s interactions and animations, timed to perfectly reproduce how they work in device hardware. After completing the UI motion in English, I reproduced it for four other languages.
Results
We showed the convenience of Mac Mirroring in a relatable context for students: studying late at night and needing to know when food delivery has arrived. My animation supported a compelling story, set in the world of youthful confidence that Apple makes possible.
